Rufus grew up in Dorset, where he took an interest in Set Design after watching the behind the scenes features on Lord Of The Rings. From there he helped out at festivals until he met Micheal Howells. Rufus worked with Micheal on a wide variety of projects from Photoshoots to Tv series. In 2014 he started at Wimbledon College of the Arts where he graduated with a first degree honours in Set Design for Screen in 2017. Now with over 10 years of experience, he works on a broad range of projects. He was Production Designer on Emmy Nominated ‘In The Cold Dark Night’ and was also recently part of a BAFTA-winning creative department on ‘Im a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ under the designer Mathieu Weekes.
Rufus is also an award-winning portrait sculptor. Member of the Society of Portrait Sculptors and receiver of Queen Elizabeth Trust grant funding. His work has been on show in many galleries and shows, notably Bowman Sculpture of St James Park, the RBA Rising Stars show, The Face22, 23 and 24 and the Chelsea Art’s Club.

I am a creative, personable and polite Set Designer based in London and Dorset. I enjoy creating something from nothing. I wish to design for multiple mediums, collaboratively to deliver innovative projects.
